Food for each menu was divided and distributed to the families at the start of each day. Snacks were carried on the handcart.

bag of dehydrated fruit is to be eaten mainly with meals and as you want.

1lb bag of jerky to be eaten mainly on the trail and as you want.

Wheat
Chewing Gum. Each family has a bag of wheat to eat along the trek. Read the
instructions with the wheat.

Use
the honey on your biscuits but be sure to save
¾ cup for the ham.
●
To
obtain 350ºF in a Dutch-oven, put 10 coal underneath and 14 coals on top of the
oven. Replace coals as they diminish to maintain temperature.
